Norwich-based fire & security specialists
Certified fire stopping and compartmentation installed across Norfolk.
Effective compartmentation is essential to contain fire, smoke and toxic gases. We install and maintain certified fire-stopping systems, including intumescent seals, cavity barriers and fire-rated penetrations, to preserve the integrity of fire-resisting structures. Our BM TRADA-certified installers ensure all penetrations are correctly sealed, labelled and documented for fire-risk assessment records.
EPS delivers third-party certified fire stopping through the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Stopping Scheme, one of the most recognised standards for proven competence in the UK. Installations follow approved, tested details, use products in line with test evidence, and come with full photographic evidence and compliance documentation.
Incorrect, damaged or missing fire stopping can allow fire and smoke to spread rapidly through walls, floors, risers and hidden voids, compromising escape routes, causing fast fire spread into protected areas, failure of compartmentation, legal enforcement and rejected insurance claims.
